using HelpEdit

This tool allows you to edit the current database which we created, so be careful not to delete the original information (if you ever do so: you can download the newest version of our database from our Homepage. NOTE: All your added informtation will be lost if you overwrite it with a newer version! The database is located in the following file: x:\..\premiere\infinity\infinity.int)
You can start HelpEdit directly from the PluginManager by clicking the HelpEdit button.

What we intended for you to do with HelpEdit is to add new plugins from yourself or other companies. To add a new plugin proceed as follows:

1. Use the explorer and copy the plugin(s) into: x:\..\Premiere\Plug-ins\NEW_PLUG
2. Open HelpEdit (by clicking the button in the PluginManager)
3. Click NEW
4. Browse for the new plugin file
5. Enter the plugin name
6. Enter a description
7. Define a Type
8. Click the OK button

Now your new plugin will be integrated in our PluginManager and appear as filter or transition (instead of unknown).

TOTAL shows you the number of entries in the database. By using the scrollbar you can browse through all entries (POSITION shows you the current position of the entry sorted by alphabet) and edit them.

IF YOU UPGRADE to the full version a backup of the current databse file will be created (infinity.bak) so that no information you added will be lost. You can reactivate this backup by deleting infinity.int and rename infinity.bak into infinity.int.
