Preview Window


By right click on a clip in the Gallery, a pop-up menu will show up so that you can choose either to edit the clip or to delete the clip from the Gallery, or to add another clip from desired location. You can also doubled click on a clip in order to load it to the Preview Window for trimming and editing.

Trimming Tool

Below the Preview Window, you can use the Trimming Tool to trim clips, then place the clips on the Timeline.
1)Move the slider until you are displaying the desired In point. Set it by clicking the IN button.  
2)Move the slider until you are displaying the desired Out point. Set it by clicking the OUT button.  
3)Use the play controls to play the clip using the In and Out points.  
4)After you have your trimmed clip, place your clip onto the Timeline by clicking the Successor button.  
 
There are three of time code display options:
1)H:M:S:F (Hour:Minute:Second:Frame)  
2)Frame (Frame by Frame)  
3)Time (Hour:Minute:Second:Millisecond)  
You can select one of the options at any time, even when the clip is playing in the Preview Window.

Fine Seek (unique to us!)

The Fine Seek option will help you to accurately search and locate frame by frame In/Out point of clips while editing large MPEG1 or 2 (I,B,P frame) files. When the Fine Seek option is selected, the slider moves in absolute frame by frame accuracy, no matter your clip is in MPEG 1 or MPEG 2 I/B/P frame.
If there is a MPEG2 decoder card in your system, the Sync Play option will be enabled. When the Sync Play is selected, you will be able to play at full frame rate synchronously both on your Preview Window and an external video monitor if available.
