IRC Finger

• After you get Fserv running on your machine, get on IRC and type: /finger someone
• i.e. you would do this just like you would type: /me screams in a chat room but use the /finger command instead.
• Send (DCC) them fserv33.zip and ask them to finger you back.
• Also here is a Finger Client
• if you are using SelfHost  you can have what ever name you want, log on and fserv will work with that too.

Web Page Finger

• After you log on SelfHost with your new name you can try this remote finger gateway:   Remote Finger
• Just type:    *@NewName.SelfHost.com  - at the prompt and you should see your finger.dat msg returned.
• i.e. if your new name is Elvis you would type: *@Elvis.selfhost.com or Elvis@Elvis.selfhost.com
• don't forget to put put elvis in your finger.dat file also
• This Remote finger gateway will return the default but not individuals for some reason.
