FastTimer is a drop-in replacement for the
TTimer that comes packaged with Delphi. It
allows timer events with a resolution down to
1ms, rather than 55ms (which is the limit of
the TTimer component). This makes it suitable
for use in games, communications, and all
other applications that need timing
