  6. Welcome to the first issue of Sunlight Through The Shadows magazine! In
  7. this issue, as well as in the future, STTS will strive to bring you the
  8. best in fiction, poetry, reviews, article, and other assorted reading
  9. material.

  11. This issue wouldn't have been possible without the aid, support, and
  12. guidance of three women:

  14. Inez Harrison, publisher of Poetry In Motion newsletter. Her's was the
  15. first electronic magazine I ever laid eyes upon, and also the first such
  16. magazine to publish my work. She's given me advice, and, more
  17. importantly, inspiration.

  19. Lucia Chambers, publisher of Smoke & Mirrors Elec. Magazine and head of
  20. Pen & Brush Network. She gave me advice on running a magazine,
  21. encouragement, and hints as to the kind of people to look for in
  22. writers.

  24. Heather DeRouen, my wife. Listed last here, but always first in my
  25. heart. She's proofread manuscripts, inspired me, listened to me, and,
  26. most importantly, loved me. Never could I find a better woman to live
  27. life by my side, nor a better friend.
