  18. This document explains the steps a user can take if Windows
  19. functions that had operated before the installation of Novell DOS
  20. 7 fail after Novell DOS 7 is installed.

  33.      When installing Novell DOS 7 to a Windows 3.x configured
  34.      machine, changes are made to the Windows configuration for
  35.      the network interface to PERSONAL NetWare (or any network)
  36.      and to add Fastback (backup utility) and Search and Destroy
  37.      (virus checking utility).
  38.  
  39.      When a user experiences a change or loss of a certain
  40.      Windows action after installing Novell DOS 7, the function
  41.      should be checked to these alterations.

  43.      Changes are made to three .INI files; WIN.INI, SYSTEM.INI
  44.      and PROGMAN.INI.  These three files are saved with the
  45.      filename extension .ND7 before being edited.  The line
  46.      changes are as follows:

  48.      NOTE:     The semicolon (;) in the following lines
  49.                represents a comment or remark line.  They are
  50.                used to provide information about the preceding
  51.                line.  They do not actually appear in the files.

  110.      reflect these utilities.  Some files were deleted to reduce
  111.      confusion.  Deleted files are the same as Novell DOS 7
  112.      commands.  None of the deleted files are saved under any new
  113.      filename.  The list below reflects these changes.

  253.      NLS stands for NetWare Language Support.  This directory has
  254.      files that support code page and keyboard functions for
  255.      languages in PERSONAL NetWare.  There is a total of 98
