How to upgrade
=====================================================================
Here is the right procedure to upgrade Lora in your system:
1. Change to your system directory (normally called C:\LORA) and
uncompress inside it the original archive, LOD235U.ZIP.
2. Run LOD235U.EXE
The program will upgrade the files that are changed with this
release.
Note: The upgrade procedure will patch the original 2.34
executable files only. The update files are made with the
MDIFF/MPATCH companion made by Maurizio Giunti (2:332/102.3).
Both DOS and OS/2 versions are available.
Changes made from version 2.34 to 2.35
=====================================================================
- Fixed some bugs with the 'Upload .REP packet' due the new upload
check routine.
- Fixed a bug that prevents the execution of the 'Before import'
external processing command.
- The 'Export netmail' menu item was changed to 'Pack netmail'.
- Fixed a bug that prevents the mail outgoing from passthrough areas
to be packed.
- Added the detection of the HOME (ESC ] H) and END (ESC ] K) ANSI
sequences to the full screen editor and to the terminal emulator.
- Fixed a bug with the 'List/delete tagged files' command.
- The kludge lines are no more added to the quoted message buffer when
replying with the full screen editor (both internal and external).
- Done a little speed improvement to the OS/2 terminal emulator.
- Fixed a bug that prevents the -nXX switch to work properly.
- Fixed a bug with the 'Link tear line' option that duplicates the
tear line if an already Lora tear line was present.
- The 'Expand CR to CR/LF' option for the terminal emulator is now
logged on the status line.
- LANGCOMP: The line buffer has been expanded to 500 characters per
line to allow the compilation of complex language files.
- Added the ^L command to the full screen editor: it causes a complete
redraw of the editor's screen (the new FSHELP.BBS file is included
with this package).
