  8. Metal Knights is a military strategy game where you are the ruler
  9. of a rising empire.  The Metal Knights Terminal gives you a game
  10. supporting VGA graphics with 256 colours. It also supports a mouse
  11. and a Sound Blaster card.  This terminal is necessary to play the
  12. Metal Knights game!

  14. To download the METAL??.ZIP terminal, hit the D key.  After the
  15. transfer, quit the BBS, and unzip the file in a temporary
  16. directory.  Type INSTALL.EXE to run the installation program.

  18. Once installed, Metal Knights can be used 3 different ways:
  19.  
  20.      First: the easy way.  After INSTALL.EXE, you are in the Metal
  21. Knights directory. Type MK and hit ENTER.  This will activate the
  22. terminal mode.  With this terminal you can call your BBS with the
  23. ATDT-XXX-XXXX command, like in a standard communication program. 
  24. Just enter the Metal Knights door.  It's possible to edit the
  25. METAL.FON file to make macro commands.

  27. OR
  28.      Second way. Contact your BBS using your regular communication
  29. program.  Enter the Metal Knights door.  When you see  .. Terminal
  30. Synchronization .., shell out  quickly of your communication
  31. program, while holding the line, without changing directory, type
  32. MK and hit the ENTER key.  After the game, go back in your
  33. communication program to continue your  work on the BBS.

  35. OR
  36.      Third way. External protocol.  The INSTALL.EXE configure
  37. automatically Telemate, Telix, QModem, QModem Pro and Terminate 
  38. to work this way. Consult your communication program documentation
  39. if you are not using one of those. Activate your communication program
  40. and call the BBS.  Enter the Metal Knights door and everything will
  41. work automatically.
