1604.moov is a short QuickTime movie recorded & edited within hours of Pat getting his Video Bigot... ahem... Video Spigot nubus card for his Mac IIvx. It was created in the highly sought after style of incoherency combined with manic hysteria.
The initial editing was done in Adobe Premiere 2.0 on a Mac IIvx, and the final edited version was output using Adobe Premiere 3.0 on a Mac Centris 650. Special effects include Chroma Keying, disolves, fades, Wet-Wipes, superimposed animated titles, and having to push a large plastic starship in front of the camera.
MovieShop V1.0b24 (!) was then used to create a compressed stand-alone QuickTime movie which can be played using Apple's MoviePlayer application (or imported into your favorite word processing package to annoy other people).
*****There are several highly philosphical messages contained in the movie, most of which will not be understood unless you have read every single message ever posted on the Internet, in every single news group for the past millenium (we haven't done this so most of it either came to us by osmosis or went right over the tops of our heads).*****
Suffice to say, this small insignificant & irreverent contribution has absolutely nothing to do with any of the following: Beavis & Butthead - Mackie Designs - Multimedia (in general) - Neil Armstrong - Star Trek - NTSC - Anyone who owns a Camcorder, or a Mackie 1604 mixer, or a Macintosh, or makes stupid plastic spaceship models...
You will also be pleased to know that we compressed the movie down to just 1 Meg so y'all can enjoy it. If you complain I'll upload all 350 gigabytes of it (Just kidding!).
