  5. This utility provides a Wimp front-end for the Lee Noar's port of 
  6. the POVray3 executable, enabling the files making up an animation 
  7. to be traced easily.  It requires the POV files available from 
  8.

  12. and the Toolbox modules, also available from  argonet ftp
  13.

  15. The source file should be dragged to the icon or window. The output 
  16. format can be toggled between Targa and PPM, and the files will be
  17. stored in a directory in the same location as the source file.
  18.  
  19. If the file uses the POV 'clock' variable, a sequence of files can 
  20. be generated. The frame numbers used can be set. The default values of 
  21. clock are 0 (for the first frame) to 1 (for the last frame), but these 
  22. can be modified using the writeable icons. 
  23. If the 'cyclic' option is ticked, the clock value varies so that there
  24. is  smooth transiion form the final to intial frame.

  26. The Res menu option allows a choice of setting in the .ini.res file, and a 
  27. 'none' option so that other values can be entered in the writeable 
  28. 'extra parameters' icon.  This is set up with useful defaults, any of which 
  29. may be altered as desired. The deafults an be restored by entering ? in the icon
  30.  
  31. Clicking on Create starts the trace, which is NOT multi-tasking. The trace
  32. can be stopped by pressing Escape.
