This is the file "projects" from the NetBSD-Amiga distribution. It
describes who is working on what.
This file was last updated on 17. March 1994.
The current maintainer of this file is Guenther Grau (s_grau@ira.uka.de).
I am trying to maintain a list of all the projects people are working
on. This should help to avoid two people working on the same project
not knowing from each others efforts. It also should help to see if
people are actually making progress in their efforts. The maintainer
of this list should try to keep in touch with all the developers
regularly (e.g. once a month or so) to see if people are still working
on it and how they are doing. This document should not contain any
rumours or the like. It cannot be guaranteed that all the information
contained in this list is absolutely correct, but there should be some
effort to be as close to the actual situation as possible. If people
are interested in it, maybe we can put all the finished projects into
a history file, so people can see, who has done what.
After several requests I try to put together a list of people, who
have spent a lot of time contributing to NetBSD(-Amiga). I tried to
put everyone I now of into this list, but I am almost sure that I
forgot to mention somebody. Be sure that this has not happened on
purpose! Send a mail to me (see address of the current maintainer
above), and tell me what project you or the one to be mentioned has
worked on. One last thing, I cannot mention every project somebody has
worked on, but if you feel that one special project has been
forgotten, please feel free to inform me.
Credit, where credit is due! So here is the
Hall of Fame

Project: easy-install
Short description: Software to make installation easier
Name: Ty Sarna
Email: tsarna@endicor.com
Started: Decemer 1993
Finished:
Last Update:
Comments: Initial work is aimed at installation from cdrom,
but support for other methods (like for
downloaded or ftp'd NetBSD) is being looked at.
Also requires AmigaOS 2.04 or later currently.
This may not change, as almost everyone who
is enough of a power-user to run NetBSD (has
030 or greater with MMU, disk, SCSI, lots of
memory, etc) probably runs at least 2.04.

Name: Ty Sarna
Email: tsarna@endicor.com
Started: Decemer 1993
Finished:
Last Update:
Comments: The finish date is hard to predict due to the
nature of NetBSD development. Probaly Spring/Summer
'94. If you wish to be notified when production
is nearing, mail tsarna@endicor.com and ask to
be placed on the NetBSD/Amiga CD-ROM news list.
Disc will probably require 2.04 to install.
