  3. It is the case that fsck, mkfs, part, and dtab were ported
  4. (possibly incorrectly) from BSD Tahoe to AmigaDOS.
  5.  
  6. The BSD filesystem for AmigaDOS was derived in part from the
  7. 1983 CSRG paper, "A Fast Filesystem for UNIX." - McKusick,
  8. Joy, Leffler, Fabry.  The Berkeley BSD Tahoe include files are
  9. used as part of this program, however, at no point during
  10. development was the Berkeley ufs filesystem code consulted for
  11. ideas, techniques, or algorithms.

  13. The programs filetodev and devtofile were written entirely by
  14. me and (although dangerous) are believed to be free of bugs.
  15.  
  16. All aforementioned programs may, in fact, do more harm than good
  17. to affected media.  I, in no way, guarantee correctness of the
  18. product and will not be held responsible for its use (or misuse).
