  6. After downloading a few GMPlay GUI's and not 
  7. being to impressed with them (sorry), I thought 
  8. I'd make a short script file to do what was needed
  9. to make GMPlay easier to use.

  11. NOTE:
  12.     The new GMPlay version 1.3 does not use the GM: assign so
  13.     you will probably have to change the 'gm' default line.
  14.     See 'VARIABLES' below.

  17. INSTALL GMPlayer:
  18.     Just copy GMPlayer to wherever you like on your hard
  19.     drive (or disk).
  20.  
  21. USE:
  22.     Double click the icon and a requester will open. Use
  23.     the requester to select the MIDI file you want to play.
  24.     When the MIDI file is finished the requester will
  25.     'pop up' again and you can select the next file.
  26.  
  27. STOP GMPlay:
  28.     If you press the 'Ctrl' and the 'C' keys together while
  29.     the GMPlay window is active, GMPlay stops and the
  30.     requester opens again.
  31.  
  32. QUIT GMPlayer:
  33.     If you don't select a file or click on 'Cancel' in the
  34.     requester GMPlayer quits.

  37. BUGS:
  38.     There is one 'bug' I've found that I haven't
  39.     managed to put right.
  40.     Sometimes (I'm not sure why) the file ENV:ReqGMdir
  41.     is empty and so the requester does not open. If this
  42.     happens just delete ENV:ReqGMdir and it'll work again.

  44. VARIABLES:
  45.     You can change the '.def' (default) lines of GMPlayer with
  46.     a text editor.
