  6. Lease Consultant is a Windows tool that will help you realize
  7. a good deal when leasing a car or truck.  It will calculate 
  8. the monthly lease payment based on the MSRP, residual, lease term, 
  9. etc., utilizing the same financial formula used by dealers but in 
  10. simple, non-technical terms.  The online help contains definitions 
  11. of ambiguous terms, such as Capital Cost Reduction and Money Factor, 
  12. favored by professional salespeople.

  16. To install Lease Consultant on your hard disk follow these 4 simple steps.

  18. 1. Start Windows
  19. 2. Insert disk into drive A
  20. 3. From the Program Manager, select the File Menu and choose Run.
  21. 4. Type a:\install and press ENTER.

  26. The use of Lease Consultant is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  28. Lease Consultant is copyrighted material, protected by the copyright laws of
  29. the United States. You may not make any changes or modifications, decompile, 
  30. disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer the software in any way.
  31.  
  32. Lease Consulatant can be used on a trial basis provided the user does not 
  33. violate the protection afforded the licensed software by the copyright laws, 
  34. and the user agrees to the terms of the license agreement. If the user
  35. continues to use Lease Consulatant past a 30 day evaluation period the user is 
  36. obligated to purchase a license.

  38. Lease Consulatant can be used on a Local Area Network provided that a license is 
  39. obtained for the number of users that may concurrently use the software.

  41. A license for the user of Lease Consulatant can be obtained by sending a $24.95
  42. registration fee to:

  57. end user is granted an exclusive license to use the software on one
  58. computer at any given time.

  60. Limited Warranty

  62. The author, Steven Hodorov, does not warrant that the licensed software will 
  63. meet any requirements or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted 
  64. or error free. The warranty does not cover any media or documentation which
  65. has been subject to damage or abuse by you or others. The software warranty
  66. does not cover any copy of the licensed software which has been altered or
  67. changed in any way.

  69. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR
  70. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THE EXPRESS
  71. WARRANTIES. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
  72. warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

  74. The warranties set forth above are in lieu of any and all other express
  75. or implied warranties, whether oral, written, or implied, and the remedies
  76. set forth above are the sole and exclusive remedies.

  78. The author, Steven Hodorov, is not responsible for any problems or damages caused
  79. by the licensed software that may result from using the licensed software.
  80. This includes, but is not limited to, computer hardware, computer software,
  81. operating systems, and any computer or computing accessories. End user agrees
  82. to hold Steven Hodorov harmless for any problems arising from the user 
  83. of the software.

  85. The author, Steven Hodorov, SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, 
  86. INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING FROM
  87. ANY BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES EVEN IF Steven Hodorov OR HIS AGENTS
  88. OR DISTRIBUTORS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. Some
  89. states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
  90. damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

  92. In no case shall Steven Hodorov's liability exceed the license fees
  93. paid for the right to use the licensed software.

  95. Distribution

  97. Users are granted a limited license to copy Lease Consulatant only for the trial use
  98. by others subject to the terms of this software license agreement described
  99. herein, and the conditions described below are met:

  101. Lease Consulatant MUST be copied in and unmodified form and MUST contain 
  102. the following files:

  104.    Lease.EXE
  105.    Lease.HLP
  106.    Lease.TXT
  107.  
  108. No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or requested by
  109. anyone without the express written permission of the author, Steven Hodorov.
  110.  
  111. Public Domain Disk Vendors, Shareware Disk Vendors and Distributors of public
  112. domain and user supported software  may not charge a fee for Lease Consulatant
  113. itself. However, you may include Lease Consulatant on a diskette for which you 
  114. charge a nominal distribution fee. The purchaser of said diskette must be 
  115. informed in advance that the fee paid to acquire the diskette does NOT relieve 
  116. said purchaser from paying the registration fee for Lease Consulatant if said 
  117. purchaser uses Lease Consulatant.

  119. Operators of electronic bulletin board systems may post Lease Consulatant for 
  120. downloading by their users without written permission only as long as the above conditions
  121. are met. A fee may be charged for access to the bbs as long as no specific fee
  122. is charged for downloading Lease Consulatant files.
