¢ o=o=o=o=o=¢¢ PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE¢ by Jack Gedalius¢¢ July--August, 1997¢¢¢ At the May meeting Al Sharkis demoed¢ a great utilitiy disk for Sparta Dos.¢ It consists of a statistics program,¢ Atariwriter Plus for Sparta Dos, and¢ saves word processor files to a RAM¢ disk.¢¢ At the June meeting Ron Fetzer demoed¢ a catalogue disk-file program. He¢ designed this program which he calls¢ "Quick Cataloguer." It is all done¢ on a RAM disk D8:. It can handle 810¢ files at one time. Soon it will be¢ in the OL'Hackers' disk library. He¢ uses this program to catalogue our¢ library which he discovered consists¢ of 17000 files on disks.¢¢ Al Sharkis demoed the new San Leandro¢ newsletter disk.
