  9. de la Mancha has released basic 65,
  10. a monophonic synth, inspired by the
  11. Commodore 64 and its legendary SID
  12. chip: Building on the waveforms and
  13. signal path of this famous chip,
  14. basic 65 adds further features and
  15. options to take things a step
  16. further. The double arpeggiator
  17. allows complex versions of that
  18. retro 8-bit game sound and the
  19. modulation options inspire
  20. experimentation via the mod envelope
  21. and 2 comprehensive LFOs. Pulse
  22. width modulation, ring modulation
  23. and oscillator detune/sync are key
  24. ingredients in the signature sound.
  25. Throw in some pitch drift, bit
  26. drift, a sprinkle of dirt and
  27. randomisation and you have a wide
  28. range of lofi, chiptune,
  29. retro-tastic sounds at your disposal.

  31. This version is the update to the
  32. popular basic 64, redesigned from
  33. scratch, with many improvements, new
  34. features and all new presets. basic
  35. 65 was co-developed with sink, who
  36. also made the amazing presets.
