  10. It was a long work but finally here
  11. it is, the long awaited HVSC update
  12. #57.
  13.  
  14. This time we were not only able to
  15. break the 42,000 SIDs barrier, but
  16. also provided a whopping 3100+
  17. credit fixes to nail down many
  18. inconsistencies that were there for
  19. too many years.
  20.  
  21. After this update, the collection
  22. should contain 42,212 SID files!
  23.

  27. * 975 new SIDs
  28. * 239 fixed/better rips
  29. * 13 repeats/bad rips eliminated
  30. * 3136 SID credit fixes
  31. * 396 SID model/clock info
  32. * 38 tunes from /DEMOS/UNKNOWN/
  33.   identified
  34. * 18 tunes from /GAMES/ identified
  35. * 72 tunes moved out of /DEMOS/ to
  36.   their composers' directories
  37. * 24 tunes moved out of /GAMES/ to

  42. The High Voltage SID Collection
  43. (HVSC) is a freeware hobby project
  44. which organises Commodore 64 music
  45. (also known as SID music) into an
  46. archive for both musicians and fans
  47. alike. The work on the collection is
  48. done completely in the Team and
  49. contributors' spare time and is
  50. proudly one of the largest and most
  51. accurate computer music collections
  52. known.
