- INSTALLATION:
- ------------
- Indeo(TM) Video R3.0 Runtime Drivers are distributed in two files: INDEOR3.DRV
- and INDEO_U.DRV.

- To install the Indeo Video R3.0 drivers.
-
- 1. From the Control Panel in Windows, double click the DRIVERS icon.
- Remove the following Indeo Video drivers if they are installed,
- Intel Indeo(TM) Driver,
- Intel YVU9 Driver

- Or if you had previously installed an earlier version of the
- Indeo Video R3.0 drivers, remove the following:
- Intel Indeo(TM) Video R2.1 Driver,
- Intel Indeo(TM) Video R3.0 Driver,
- Intel Indeo(TM) Video Uncompressed Driver,

- 2. Save the old drivers by renaming indeo.drv, isvy.drv, and isvr.drv.
- If these files exist, they are located in windows\system.
- For example, to rename the drivers that were available to support
- Indeo Video V2.12:
- rename indeo.drv indeo212.drv
- rename isvy.drv isvy11.drv

- 3. Copy the 2 drivers into the windows\system directory
- 4. With a text editor, insert the following driver assignments in
- the driver sections of system.ini.
- A) Find the section header "[drivers]", ensure that these 4
- parameters are assigned:
- VIDC.IV31=indeor3.drv
- VIDC.RT21=indeo_u.drv
- VIDC.YVU9=indeo_u.drv
- MSVIDEO=isvr.drv
- B) If you have the Smart Video Recorder installed, find the
- section header "[ISVR.DRV]", ensure that the following
- parameter is assigned:
- Input Sync=0

- Note: The Smart Video Recorder can capture video source in
- either of the standard formats: NTSC and PAL, where
- the "Input Sync" =0 for NTSC; and =1 for PAL.

- 5. Restart Windows
- 6. Launch the Control Panel
- 7. Select Drivers
- 8. Select each of the following drivers and verify the version level
