  22. INSTALLATION:
  23. ------------
  24. Indeo(TM) Video R3.0 Runtime Drivers are distributed in two files: INDEOR3.DRV
  25. and INDEO_U.DRV.
  26.  
  27. To install the Indeo Video R3.0 drivers.
  28.  
  29.    1. From the Control Panel in Windows, double click the DRIVERS icon. 
  30.       Remove the following Indeo Video drivers if they are installed, 
  31.       Intel Indeo(TM) Driver, 
  32.       Intel YVU9 Driver
  33.  
  34.       Or if you had previously installed an earlier version of the 
  35.       Indeo Video R3.0 drivers, remove the following:
  36.       Intel Indeo(TM) Video R2.1 Driver,
  37.       Intel Indeo(TM) Video R3.0 Driver,
  38.       Intel Indeo(TM) Video Uncompressed Driver,
  39.  
  40.    2. Save the old drivers by renaming indeo.drv, isvy.drv, and isvr.drv.
  41.       If these files exist, they  are located in windows\system. 
  42.       For example, to rename the drivers that were available to support
  43.       Indeo Video V2.12:
  44.       rename indeo.drv  indeo212.drv
  45.       rename isvy.drv   isvy11.drv
  46.  
  47.    3. Copy the 2 drivers into the windows\system directory
  48.    4. With a text editor, insert the following driver assignments in
  49.       the driver sections of system.ini. 
  50.     A) Find the section header "[drivers]", ensure that these 4
  51.        parameters are assigned:
  52.           VIDC.IV31=indeor3.drv
  53.           VIDC.RT21=indeo_u.drv
  54.           VIDC.YVU9=indeo_u.drv
  55.           MSVIDEO=isvr.drv
  56.     B) If you have the Smart Video Recorder installed, find the 
  57.        section header "[ISVR.DRV]", ensure that the following 
  58.        parameter is assigned:
  59.           Input Sync=0
  60.  
  61.        Note: The Smart Video Recorder can capture video source in
  62.          either of the standard formats: NTSC and PAL, where 
  63.          the "Input Sync" =0 for NTSC; and =1 for PAL.

  65.    5. Restart Windows
  66.    6. Launch the Control Panel
  67.    7. Select Drivers
  68.    8. Select each of the following drivers and verify the version level
