COLOUR
Gives a selection of colour pallets. The red blue and
yellow blue are used for the stereo viewing .
The ACAD option is the default.
If a file named 'VSCOPE.COL' is present in the startup
directory, Veriscope will use this pallet.
This file consists of 7 lines of 6 RGB pairs
The first number in a line is the starting value
of the RED and the second is the ending value.
Numbers less than 0 or more than 255 are truncated.
Edit this file with a text editor.
The CUSTOM option
DRAW ALL FACES
means that the face edges that are specified as
invisible edges are drawn anyway.
3rd Angle Projections
4_view uses US standard engineering format for projections
Select Contiguous Faces
The TEST command will pick all edgewise contiguous faces
which have the same colour and layer. The colour or
layer of these faces can be changed in the menu that
pops down after a face has been picked.
S/F KEY ZOOM on WALK
enables the alternative motion control as described in the
manual.
Enable large DXF faces
This option is used when reading DXF files which have
been generated in FastCAD or other programs that use Faces
of more than 4 sides and translate these into closed 3d
polylines in DXF format. VeriScope will read all closed
polylines of up to 30 segments as a single face. Co-
planarity is not tested.
STEREO Shading
All shading and movies are made for viewing with the
stereo glasses. VeriScope uses the White background if
your last 3D-Walk also used the white background. Most
people will find the black background preferable.
Enforce Layer Colours
This option will override individual face colours with
the layer colour.
FLC. for all Movies
Movies will be generated in FLC 256 colour format.

MISC. options apply to the DYNOVIEW COMMAND
TEST
Test for continuity between faces.
Layer or colour of faces can be changed.
You should select Remove and All to clear the old selection.
Picked Lines must be wholely within the view
For Multiple part files, the pick only operates on the
current file section.
( to load the other file sections, press the 'enter' key
while in DYNOVIEW, WALKTHRU or 3D-WALK. )
Use the left mouse button after a selection to get the
menu for changing layers and colours.
A selection can be stretched using the STRETCH command.
A contiguous pick will take all the faces that are edgwise
contiguous, and of the same layer, and of the same color,
and of the same back-facedness. In this way you can pick a
group of wrong facing faces, click the right mouse button,
and use the FLIP option.
The BOX and Previous selection options are not working at this
time 20/9/95.
