  53. II. GENERAL TECHNICAL ISSUES
  54. ----------------------------

  56. - DO NOT REMOVE THE CD WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING GANGSTERS!
  57.  
  58. - If you see a warning saying "Please check disk space, you need at
  59. least 50MB free", please ensure that you have at least 50MB of free
  60. space on your hard drive. This must be the drive that your swap file
  61. is on (normally on C drive). You will also require additional hard
  62. drive space to hold your Gangsters saved games.
  63.  
  64. - When Gangsters is played for the first time, the SOUND levels in
  65. the game are taken from your Windows settings. If you adjust the
  66. levels in game, Gangsters will store these levels and restore them
  67. when you next play. On exiting the game, your initial Windows
  68. settings will be restored.
  69.  
  70. - IF YOU GET THE MESSAGE "Error...Sorry. Unable to start game as I
  71. canÆt access the direct draw driver. Please try 256 color mode in
  72. 640 x 480, 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768", you must have accidentally
  73. highlighted another icon on your Windows desktop as you ran
  74. Gangsters. Just re-run the game, ensuring that you donÆt click on
  75. any other parts of the desktop
