\ATXsh255 He received his training under Piero di Cosimo in Florence. He painted cycles of fresc
oes for the cloisters of the Annunziata and the Scalzi. In the former he depicted \i Scenes from the Life of Saint Philip Benizzi\i0 (ca. 1510) and from the \i Life of Mary\i0 (ca. 1514), as well as the lunette with the \i Madonna del Sacco\i0 (1525).
In the latter he depicted \i Scenes from the Life of Saint John\i0 and the \i Visitation\i0 (1524). His numerous panel paintings include the \i Holy Family\i0 (Paris, Louvre), \i Madonna of the Harpies\i0 (Florence, Uffizi), and \i Portrait of a Scu
