  7. had the highest (40/100,000).   The 
  8. residents of Gangshan regularly eat 
  9. up to 20 grams of  garlic  per  day 
  10. whereas those in  Quixia rarely eat

  17.    Medical evidence that garlic has 
  18. any   effect  on  skin  cancer   is 
  19. sketchy  at best.  However, a story 
  20. has  surfaced from  Arizona that an 
  21. elderly  man had some  facial sores 
  22. diagnosed   as  skin  cancer.   The 
  23. recommended  treatment was the norm 
  24. . . .  minor surgery  and radiation 
  25. treatments.

  29. decided to try garlic  instead.  (Each 
  30. persons'  prerogative  .  .  . )    He 
  31. crushed  several cloves  of our  magic 
  32. herb and spread it on a  band-aid.  He 
  33. then  placed  the  band-aid  over  the 
  34. suspected  cancer  spots.   The  magic 
  35. started!   The  spots   grew   tender, 
  36. finally  festered  and  drained.   The 
  37. band-aids were  changed  several times 
  38. during a two week period.
