  1. TRANSFER MENU HELP:

  4. TRANSFER
  5. --------
  6. U - Upload A File. Send a file from you to this system
  7. D - Download A File. Have this system send you a file. If given filename or
  8.     number is not located in the current directory, the system will search
  9.     all directories for the file's existance.
  10. B - Batch Menu. Enter the batch D/L menu where a batch transfer may be
  11.     initiated or edited.
  12. Z - Upload A File To Sysop. Send a file from you to the sysop (private).

  14. ARCHIVE
  15. -------
  16. V - View An Archive. View an archive file (ie, ZIP,ARC,LZH,PAK).
  17. T - Test An Archive. Tests the integrity (CRC's) of an archive for errors.
  18. E - Extract A File Or Files. Extract file(s) from an archive file to your
  19.     temporary directory.
  20. A - Archive Commands. Use your temporay directory and add files to your
  21.     temporary archive, text download, etc.

  23. DIRECTORY
  24. ---------
  25. * - List All Directories. List all available directories to you.
  26. # - Go to directory #. Changes the current area to the number of the area
  27.     entered.
  28. L - List Files In Directory. List all the files in the current directory.
  29. S - Scan All Directories. Scans all the directories for the filespec
  30.     specified. A <CR> is equivalent to a *.*.
  31. F - Find Description. Search directire(s) for matching strings.
  32. N - New Scan Files. Scan the current directory or all directories for new
  33.     files since your the limiting date.
  34. P - Set New-Scan Pointer. Re-set the new-scan "last-call" date for
  35.     new-scanning files with this command.
  36. + - Add Current Directory To New-Scan. Adds the current directory into
  37.     the directories to be scanned when a New-San global is issued.
  38. - - Remove Current Directory From New-Scan. Removes the current directory
  39.     from the directories to be scanned when a New-Scan global is issued.

  41. ],> - Go Up One Dir. If you are in dir #1, hit one of these to go to
  42.       dir #2, and again for #3, etc.
  43. [,< - Go Down One Dir. If you are in dir #3, hit one of these to go to
  44.       dir #2, and again for #1, etc.

  46. OTHER COMMANDS
  47. --------------
  48. Q - Quit To MAIN MENU. Drops you back in the main menu system
  49. M - Message & Mail System. This brings you to the message-base sub-boards
  50.     where public posts and replys are posted. Conversations and such are
  51.     conducted in this area.
  52. G - General Text Files.  These are general-interest files that you may view.
  53.     These are text files for on-line viewing or download.
  54. ? - This Menu Screen. Show the menu screen for the Transfer Subs.
  55. C - Chat with Sysop.  This command turns on a pager, which may attract or
  56.     distract the attention of the Sysop.
  57. X - Xpert/Novice Mode Toggle.  This will toggle the display of the menu
  58.     after each command is entered.
  59. O - Outta Here. This loggs you off the system.

  61. EXTENDED
  62. --------
  63. /U - User List. Shows users with access to the current transfer directory.
  64. /O - Log off immediately. This will hang you up instantly.
  65. /C - Clear The Screen. Have the system send a screenclear code.
