  114. Remove lines 2,8,9,10,12,24,30,31 from the Matrix.cfg file and put these
  115. into the Matrix.lc file, This was done to make sure that all Random screens
  116. can have there own color Prompt's for the User's.

  118. Added another .CNF file for the HANGUP.PPE this has replaced the way
  119. it was done before. There are only two line in this one very easy to setup.

  121. Removed three lines from the THT_INFO.LVL file since they have been replaced
  122. by the Hangup.CNF and the one other line was no longer being used.

  132. This is line 43 in the Matrix.cfg.

  134. Also changed the Way One Name User record LOOKUP is done, This had to be
  135. Done to allow NewUser that are tring to use one of the OneNames user's
  136. Name as part of the Login Name. Because of this One Name user's will have
  137. to enter there Name then enter and then there Password.

  139. Changed the Display option for LOCKED out User's to be able to display
  140. a File as long as the entry in the MAtrix.cfg has a "%" as the first 
  141. character.

  144. Almost all display files have been move to a seperate directory since
  145. the main Matrix sub was getting to cluttered, This dir is called SCR
  146. it should be created under the one you have the Matrix installed in.

  149. Fixed a problem with the internal Checking for newuser's votes when
  150. the user had fewer than 4 character's for a last name or fewer than three
  151. characters for a first name.

  153. Adding a display file for the Voting status, And for when the Sysop
  154. has the System set to allow Voted out users to gain limited access 
  155. to the BBS. These files are called CHECK.DSP & LIMITED.DSP.

  185. there Handle and password all on the Handle Line it would not take the PW

  192. There has been a bug in the Matrix for a long time it seems, When a newuser
  193. enter's there login name and it's found in the TCAN the next time they enter
  194. a login name it tells them that they have had a Password Failure and either 
  195. asks them if they want to enter a comment to the Sysop or Logs them off.
  196. FIXED!!!

  198. Also added one more line to the MATRIX.LC file for the location
  199. of the Password Found in Tcan prompt.

  202. Really Customize the Login entry even further.

  213. the Matrix.cfg and Matrix1.cfg has changed, the lightbar prompts that
  214. where in the Matrix.cfg file are now in the Matrix1.cfg. This was done
  215. so that Sysop's could have different Length Prompts for there Random 
  216. Display Files. It would be a good idea to check these files and make
  217. the nessesary changes to your existing .cfg's.

  220. In this version there is another small config file that lets you change
  221. the positioning of the login Prompts, This will let Sysop's create there
  222. own MATRIX.DSP Display files and position the System Password, First, Last
  223. and other display Prompt where ever they may like.  This file is Called
  224. MATRIX.LC, This file has been setup to do random display screens.

  226. Added two very small PPE's in this version that replace PCBTEXT recoder's
  227. "53 -> HTNEWON.PPE" & "92 -> HTWRONG.PPE", These two PPE's also read the 
  228. Same .cnf file called HTNEWON.CNF for there Prompt.

  231. the Blank System Password the Matrix would Display the Prompt with
  232. No System Password to go along with it.

  260. where he must enter a Validation Message to the Sysop I am useing the

  285. for those of you that wish to make changes to this it's now Possible

  288. to the Internal Infoforms was not enough so now it's 15 this should be plenty
  289.  
  290. Change the Zip Code part of the PCB PSA input to allow LETTER's
  291. This seems to be a must for Canadian Sysop's.

  303. This is a real quick release to take care of a problem with the
  304. Internal Infoforms and Newuser's that apply by inputing the whole name
  305. on the first line where it asks for your first name, It seems that 
  306. the users name was not being properly stuffed to PCB after the Infoforms
  307. Also removed the external Infoforms since they are no longer needed
  308. By the Sysop's running the Matrix, The Infoforms will be Released
  309. in there own PKG from now on.

  311. Also am adding 5 min to the newuser's time when entering the Infoforms
  312. so that PCB does not Terminate the user before they can fill then out.

  317. in the Matrix, 1 was if this option was used then the newuser's
  318. City was not being put in the DATA for NUV.

  321. and it can not log the newuser off since they are not in PCB at the 
  322. point after they fill out the Infoforms, I have put a very Small
  323. PPE in the PKG called HANGUP.PPE this should go where the old 
  324. THT-INFO.PPE was, It will hangup on the Newuser at that point.

  326. Also removed line 6 from the Matrix.cfg make Sure you do this
  327. in the matrix.cfg if you are upgrading from v 3.00

  370. The Way I found out was when I tried to install the 9th Ramdom
  371. Screen, It would not come up at all!!!

  382. Going to send in the Fee and have not Your Number's will no longer WORK!

  384. For those that have a REAL Registered version contact THT and you will 
  385. Recieve your New Number's. All you all will have to do is run "REGIT"
  386. I have re-writen this Program also now it uses a DATABASE to give out
  387. your number's so if you are not in the database no number's will be
  388. Generated also if your user name on THT is not the same as the one you
  389. Use in PCBoard.dat then I will have to generate a number for you since
  390. the REGIT uses your user name to get the number's.

  392. All THT PPE's now have new number's, Sorry about this but it seems that 
  393. there are Sysop's out there that are not good on there WORD, Where I 
  394. Come from your Word is GOLD. But as I have said there are alot of you
  395. out there that think This Program should be free, Well Sorry but it is
  396. Not and your Numbers will no longer Work Contact THT this time send 
  397. The Small donation. No Number's will be generated without the REG Fee!!

  428. and some versions of the Beta's Since alot of you do not update the beta's
  429. All the Time.

  479. Well in this version I have optimized the Code
  480. added support for NUP to gain access to the Apply command
  481. this means that a NewUser must know the NewUser PassWord to even
  482. get this far. Since the New Compiler came out and the newer Versions
  483. of PCB 15.1 handle the PPE's differently had to change alot of the Code
  484. so that the 15.1 would work properly. Changed the Message Header
  485. so that now it Displays the User's Name and Subject.

  490. with the way a user was able to leave a Comment when they had to

  495. Well found a few problems with the way I was handling the PSA's if they
  496. where installed mostly it was display problems fixed!!

  498. There has been a problem in the FeedBack option from the Matrix
  499. one of the things was if you where to type something in the field
  500. for selection of the Sysop to send mail to then back space though it
  501. then tap enter it would go to the Message entry point FIXED!!!

  503. Also added some code so if a User was to enter a long message to one
  504. of the Sysop's the Header would go away now the text scrolls up the screen
  505. and the header is not moved at all.
  506. Added code so that if the Sysop has the System setup so that a user can 
  507.  
  508. Leave a Comment on PassWord Failure then it will through them into the
  509. Message System so that the User May Leave a Comment.

  513. Found a nasty BUG in Matrix v 2.13 say if a user had the knowledge of PCB
  514. he could possibly gain access to your Board with SYSOP LEVEL ACCESS.

  516. For this reason I would get rid of v 2.13 & any earlier Version's at this
  517. time.

  521. And to you HACKER's out there Hex-Editing the PPE's from now on may
  522. have a lasting affect on your Machine, I will not say anything more 
  523. about the Code I added to guard against these LAMER'S....
  524. Since $10.00 was to much for them to pay to get a REAL Reg Number for 
  525. the PPE's now Registration has gone up it's now $20.00....

  534. Well still there has been a few Bugs crop up, One had to do with the way
  535. NewUser where handled in some cases if you had replaced prompt 53 with
  536. say a ppe that could have caused some problems also there was a problem
  537. with the DOS Matrix where you couldn't turn off the Run another PPE
  538. and the PAGE.

  541. Well there was a bug in the way I was doing the Checking for the
  542. NewUser's it had to do with user's that used a period in there login
  543. name this has now been fixed.

  548. Cleaned up a Bug in the way the Matrix was reading the Level's
  549. I was reading the wrong Variable, Made some changes to the 
  550. Registration Number so that Boards that use HighAscii character's can
  551. now be Used. Added a few more Prompts to the MATRIX.CFG so take a look
  552. Before you install it. This one seems to be stable I have tested it on 
  553. The Hard Times BBS for almost a week Now with no apparent Problems.
  554. Also am Adding 5 minutes to the Time in the Matrix because of the Fact 
  555. that if a newuser is coming in and is taking his time filling out the
  556. Info PCB would display the 3 minute warning in the screen and then
  557. all cursor Location's afterwards wouldn't be Correct.

  561. Well it seems that I was to hasty in Releasing v 2.10
  562. It had a few really bad Problems, Like not checking the voted status
  563. of User's that are still going though NUV. and some other really strange
  564. problems this Version should Fix most if not all of these problem.
  565. Aslo added to the archive my little ppe that will force all user's to 
  566. use ANSI Color.

  571. Well in this one I changed the way the Matrix treats the Check for access
  572. prompt now if it's the DOS Matrix it will no longer display the Box like
  573. it will when you are in the LightBar Matrix, Also if you are in the LightBar
  574. Matrix and go to check for Access it no longer Display's the Second Box
  575. this makes the display look cleaner, Also added a Turbo Key for those
  576. that have been Accepted as a User it will tell them the first time they
  577. Check for access what the Turbo Key is. Added to the Config file for the 
  578. Prompt for when you are using the DOS Matrix is Now configurable also
  579. added an option to run another PPE from the Matrix Menu. Also
  580. added the Prompt for the Turbo Login Key to the config and an option
  581. of "Y" or "N" if you want to use it. Added a Password for the user's to
  582. enter when they Check for there Access this has to match there password 
  583. before they will be able to see the System Password, Also had the turbo
