  6. Well changed the Way Login works before after entering the System password
  7. The Matrix would drop you to PCB now it jumps to the Enter Your Name
  8. Prompts and does a turbo Login afterwards. Changed all FDPUTLN commands
  9. to FPUTLN because it is still having problems with this new Command
  10. and some versions of the Beta's Since alot of you do not update the beta's
  11. All the Time.

  23. there Login Name, Changed the way the internal Check PPE figures the Votes

  25. soon as it reaches the number of votes setup in the Check.cnf file.

  49. Fixed a few small display problems, God I wish they would come out
  50. with a REAL RELEASE of the COMPILER, Well got a newer Compiler
  51. Last night when compiling the Matrix and then tried to run it
  52. The Displays where funny, PCB 15.1 as of 01-11-94 & Compiler 
  53. as of 01-12-94 Well when PCB 15.1 is release Hopefully the Code 
  54. will not have to be changed again.

  61. Well in this version I have optimized the Code
  62. added support for NUP to gain access to the Apply command
  63. this means that a NewUser must know the NewUser PassWord to even
  64. get this far. Since the New Compiler came out and the newer Versions
  65. of PCB 15.1 handle the PPE's differently had to change alot of the Code
  66. so that the 15.1 would work properly. Changed the Message Header
  67. so that now it Displays the User's Name and Subject.

  71. Fixed small bug in the Message Editor and another little problem
  72. with the way a user was able to leave a Comment when they had to
  73. many PassWord Failures.

  77. Well found a few problems with the way I was handling the PSA's if they
  78. where installed mostly it was display problems fixed!!

  80. There has been a problem in the FeedBack option from the Matrix
  81. one of the things was if you where to type something in the field
  82. for selection of the Sysop to send mail to then back space though it
  83. then tap enter it would go to the Message entry point FIXED!!!

  85. Also added some code so if a User was to enter a long message to one
  86. of the Sysop's the Header would go away now the text scrolls up the screen
  87. and the header is not moved at all.
  88. Added code so that if the Sysop has the System setup so that a user can

  91. Message System so that the User May Leave a Comment.

  95. Found a nasty BUG in Matrix v 2.13 say if a user had the knowledge of PCB
  96. he could possibly gain access to your Board with SYSOP LEVEL ACCESS.

  98. For this reason I would get rid of v 2.13 & any earlier Version's at this
  99. time.

  103. And to you HACKER's out there Hex-Editing the PPE's from now on may
  104. have a lasting affect on your Machine, I will not say anything more 
  105. about the Code I added to guard against these LAMER'S....
  106. Since $10.00 was to much for them to pay to get a REAL Reg Number for 
  107. the PPE's now Registration has gone up it's now $20.00....

  116. Well still there has been a few Bugs crop up, One had to do with the way
  117. NewUser where handled in some cases if you had replaced prompt 53 with
  118. say a ppe that could have caused some problems also there was a problem
  119. with the DOS Matrix where you couldn't turn off the Run another PPE
  120. and the PAGE.

  123. Well there was a bug in the way I was doing the Checking for the
  124. NewUser's it had to do with user's that used a period in there login
  125. name this has now been fixed.

  130. Cleaned up a Bug in the way the Matrix was reading the Level's
  131. I was reading the wrong Variable, Made some changes to the 
  132. Registration Number so that Boards that use HighAscii character's can
  133. now be Used. Added a few more Prompts to the MATRIX.CFG so take a look
  134. Before you install it. This one seems to be stable I have tested it on 
  135. The Hard Times BBS for almost a week Now with no apparent Problems.
  136. Also am Adding 5 minutes to the Time in the Matrix because of the Fact 
  137. that if a newuser is coming in and is taking his time filling out the
  138. Info PCB would display the 3 minute warning in the screen and then
  139. all cursor Location's afterwards wouldn't be Correct.

  143. Well it seems that I was to hasty in Releasing v 2.10
  144. It had a few really bad Problems, Like not checking the voted status
  145. of User's that are still going though NUV. and some other really strange
  146. problems this Version should Fix most if not all of these problem.
  147. Aslo added to the archive my little ppe that will force all user's to 
  148. use ANSI Color.

  153. Well in this one I changed the way the Matrix treats the Check for access
  154. prompt now if it's the DOS Matrix it will no longer display the Box like
  155. it will when you are in the LightBar Matrix, Also if you are in the LightBar
  156. Matrix and go to check for Access it no longer Display's the Second Box
  157. this makes the display look cleaner, Also added a Turbo Key for those
  158. that have been Accepted as a User it will tell them the first time they
  159. Check for access what the Turbo Key is. Added to the Config file for the 
  160. Prompt for when you are using the DOS Matrix is Now configurable also
  161. added an option to run another PPE from the Matrix Menu. Also
  162. added the Prompt for the Turbo Login Key to the config and an option
  163. of "Y" or "N" if you want to use it. Added a Password for the user's to
  164. enter when they Check for there Access this has to match there password 
  165. before they will be able to see the System Password, Also had the turbo
  166. login dump the PassWord so there is no Delay getting into the Board as 
  167. long as they are a Valid User. Added some code to take care of registering
  168. NewUser's into the Board it will now ask all the Question's that PCB does
  169. before they are dump to PCB so they can be added to the user file.
  170. Added code for the NewUser's to pick there default Protocol.
  171. Added a fix for the PAGE now it will only work between the time's that
  172. you have in PCBoard.dat, Change this after I had a user Paging me
  173. at about 4:30AM, Also now you can hit the space bar to start the chat.
