Welcome to the game of Push Over.  The Game instructions are incorporated
into the game itself;  when you run the game, the instructions are
printed out before the game starts.

Push Over pits you against the computer. He chooses his move by looking at
each of his legal moves, evaluating from his viewpoint the board
position that results, then considering each of your legal replies,
again evaluating the board, but from your viewpoint. He chooses as his
plays those that give him the best differential position value, assuming
your best response. Finally, he makes a random choice among the equally
good moves.

Push Over runs under AmigaBasic as bundled with version 1.2 Amiga
Operating System.  Load AmigaBasic then CHDIR to the one containing
the files you have expanded from pshovr.arc, unless you have added
AmigaBasic to the same directory.  Then load and run "push_over".

All of the files contained herein must be in the same directory
or sub-directory.  Before play starts in the first game, there will be a
few moments wait while 4 files are loaded describing the piece shapes,
containing data for the board position value table, and  containing
a machine code segment for rapidly getting the computer's move. In
subsequent games this delay will not be encountered.
