  37. Installation Procedure:

  40. For  DOS:

  42.     - Insert this diskette into the diskette drive A:.
  43.     - Type "A:\UINSTALL" and press ENTER.
  44.     - Follow the instruction on the screen.
  45.     - Restart the system
  46.  
  47. For  Windows 3.11 (includes DOS)
  48.  
  49.     - Start Windows
  50.     - Select "File" from Program Manager window, then select "Run..."
  51.       from the pull-down menu
  52.     - Insert this diskette into the diskette drive A:.
  53.     - Type "A:\PCMINSTW" and press ENTER.
  54.     - Follow the instruction on the screen.
  55.     - Restart the system
  56.  
  57. For  OS/2 Warp:
  58.  
  59.     - Start an "OS/2 Full Screen" or an "OS/2 Window"
  60.     - Insert this diskette into the diskette drive A:.
  61.     - Type "A:\PCMINST2" and press ENTER.
  62.     - Follow the instructions on the screen.
  63.  
  64.     -Go to OS/2 Full Screen.
  65.     -At the OS/2 command prompt, type "E CONFIG.SYS" to edit the
  66.      CONFIG.SYS file for OS/2.
  67.      Add the following statement, at the top of the CONFIG.SYS file
  68.      for OS/2:
  69.      BASEDEV=RESERVE.SYS /MEM:C600,2000
  70.      Save and Exit the CONFIG.SYS file.
  71.      Shutdown and re-start the OS/2 Warp system.

  73.      IBM recommends to use the "PC Card Director" program for
  74.      PCMCIA support in OS/2 Warp. The "PC Card Director" icon is
  75.      located on the OS/2 Desktop.

  77.      To add PCMCIA support for SRAM/FLASH/ATA Cards, you will need
  78.      to  modify the CONFIG.SYS file for OS/2. The procedure for
  79.      modifying the CONFIG.SYS file for OS/2 is as follows:

  81.      -- Go to OS/2 Full Screen.
  82.      -- At the OS/2 command prompt, type "E CONFIG.SYS". Press ENTER.
  83.      -- Add the following to the existing set of statements for
  84.         PCMCIA support in CONFIG.SYS file for OS/2.

  86.         BASEDEV=PCM2ATA.ADD /S:2
  87.         DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\ICMEMMTD.SYS
  88.         DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\ICMEMCDD.SYS 2,s

  91.         support, in the modified CONFIG.SYS file for OS/2, is as
