  1. Here's some replacement samples for Amiga Worms, and a MED module of the theme
  2. tune, minus speech though.  The samples were gathered from various sources, and
  3. the tune is by me (after Bjorn Lynne of course).  =)
  4.  
  5. Here's the new samples in the archive -
  6.  
  7. AirStrike - This is the one from the PC version.  Sounds a bit better than the
  8. old one IMHO. I had to halve the sample rate to make it fit though, so the
  9. quality isn't as good.
  10.  
  11. BlowTorch - I've simply added a burning sound to the old one here.  Sounds nice
  12. enough.
  13.  
  14. Communicator - The real Star Trek one. =)
  15.  
  16. Explosion - A nice beefy explosion sound. Much better than the old one, IMHO.
  17.  
  18. ExplosionUW - As above, but slightly muffled with some bubbles too.
  19.  
  20. Reload - More crunchy than the old one.
  21.  
  22. Splash - No better or worse than the old one really, but it's cool to have a
  23. change.  =)
  24.  
  25. Teleport - I took the old sample and just added a wierd, um, sound effect, to
  26. make it sound cooler.  =)

  28. Uzi - This isn't a sample of an uzi, but it's some kind of automatic weapon
  29. anyway.  It sounded cool so I put it in.  =)
