  1. [HELP GRIPE 1 page]

  3. The program GRIPE reads what you type and records it for later review by
  4. the computer center staff.  GRIPE thus enables users to state complaints,
  5. comments, and suggestions.  GRIPE automatically includes the
  6.  
  7.                  DATE, TIME, and USER NAME and NUMBER.
  8.  
  9. To use the GRIPE capability, type    R GRIPE
  10. GRIPE will respond
  11.  
  12.         YES?  (Depress ESCape key when through)
  13.  
  14. You may then type the text of your message on as many lines as desired
  15. before ending the message with the ESCape key.
  16.  
  17. GRIPES get almost as immediate attention as MAIL to a specific staff member,
  18. MAIL being better if you know who might be able to help you (see HELP MAIL).
  19. Phone calls are every bit as official, and if you wish a reply, a whole lot
  20. quicker (206) 543-9275.  We get 1 or 2 GRIPE messages per month.
