COMMENT:An anthology of essays introducing philosophical issues parapsychology raises: the nature of evidence, what personality is and how it may survive death, and so on. Its viewpoint is weighted towards the skeptical, and towards conceptual criticisms of the notion of psychic power. Though it probably will not appeal to readers already familiar with the debate over parapsychology, it is a useful introduction for those wondering what the fuss is all about.
