COMMENT:A collection of papers on memory in natural context. For example, what can people remember a decade after the assassination of J.F.K. How good are we at recalling everyday objects such as a penny (try drawing a penny without looking at one). What sort of memory aids do people use, and how effective are they. There is a section on "special people" such as mental calculators, and mnemonists and another on eyewitness testimony. However, the comments by Neisser between each section are considered "non-standard" by most memory researchers.
