  1. About GROW'EM Version 2.0

  3. The compost pile won't stew?  Do the neighbours complain
  4. of the smell?  Having trouble with bonsai, can't get
  5. Zelkova to grow from cuttings?  Should strawberries be
  6. started from seed or cuttings?  Why won't my lupines
  7. sprout?  What about a wildflower meadow?

  9. Even as you read this, the sequel to GROW'EM Version 1.0
  10. is undergoing its final fine-tunings, and may already be
  11. available.  Wildflowers, garden vegetables, bonsai
  12. species, houseplants all receive far wider coverage. 
  13. Well over 200 species will be discussed in detail.

  15. Growing from seed and cuttings is discussed in more
  16. detail, a more extensive section on composting is
  17. featured, and lighting, mulching and various forms of
  18. layering are among the added topics.
  19.  
  20. Still, room for improvement remains.  If support for
  21. GROW'EM is great enough, Version 3.0 will add bulbs, more
  22. trees and shrubs, focus on water plants, and a whole new
  23. section dealing with organic pest control.  Drainage and
  24. irrigation will be discussed, as will grafting, and for
  25. the Northener, an exposé of cold frames is included.
