  1. The Ruins of Raistlin's Keep
  2.  
  3.     From somewhere deep within the ruins you hear a great rumbling.
  4. The sounds seems to be moving toward you and they become more distinct
  5. as they get nearer.  You can now hear snarling and the heavy footfall
  6. of some huge beast.  It must be the great red dragon Baldar.
  7.     Realizing that you can't possibly defeat Baldar, you flee in
  8. terror.  Somehow you manage to get away from the ruins and find a
  9. hiding place in a small cave.  You remain in the cave for several days
  10. awaiting your inevitable fate.
  11.     Eventually you venture outside and discover that all is quiet.
  12. Perhaps Baldar went back to sleep after searching fruitlessly for you,
  13. or perhaps he decided you weren't worth the effort.
  14.     You offer thanks to the Gods and prepare to depart this accursed
  15. island.  Perhaps you could defeat Baldar if you had some sort of
  16. magical weapon.
