HM-CARD is a multipurpose hypermedia authoring system. The hypermedia
presentations created with HM-CARD can be integrated into other hypermedia
systems or browsed separately using the viewer. The editing and linking
facilities allow the creation of standard hypermedia documents, links and
tours of various complexity.
HM-CARD requires MS-Windows version 3.1.
Simple presentations can be created without understanding the
underlying data model. To get the most out of HM-Card a basic
understanding of the HM-Data Model is essential to understanding how and
why it operates.
A complete set of manuals can be uncompressed from
a supplementary file "hmcv14_2.zip".
Create a sub-directory "DOC" within the directory "HMCARD", unzip the
file "hmcv14_2.zip" into this directory . This will create
files containing documentation in WINWORD format.
Additionally, the archive contains the file "~hmcard.~~~".
This is an unloaded database containing 143 HM-Card graphic groups,
which can be freely used in other HM-Card presentations. The groups can be
loaded into other presentation databases using the HM-Card Editor (see
Editor documentation for more details).
