USAGE
   signed int scdcindex(
           signed int datafile,
           signed char *filename,
           signed int keytype,
           signed char *keyexpr,
           signed int keylen,
           signed int decpl );

PROTOTYPE IN
   sc_base.h

DESCRIPTION
   scdcindex will create and build a Clipper index file. An empty file
   will be created using filename, keytype, keyexpr, keylen,
   and decpl. The resultant file will be opened, and the datafile
   will be read sequentially building keys from each data record. The index
   file will be closed at exit. The datafile must be open prior to the
   function call.

EXAMPLE
   #include <softc.h>
   #include <sc_base.h>

   void main()
   {
     int dbf;

     scdinit(20,0);
     if (scddopenx(&dbf,"TOC.DBF",SC_BUFFER) == SC_SUCCESS) {
       scdcindex(dbf, "TOCNAME.NTX", SC_CKEY, "NAME", 64, 0);
       scddclose(dbf);
     }
     scdterm();
   }
