USAGE
   signed int scdnindex(
           signed int datafile,
           signed char *filename,
           signed int keytype,
           signed char *keyexpr,
           signed int keylen );

PROTOTYPE IN
   sc_base.h

DESCRIPTION
   scdnindex will create and build an dBASE index file. A blank file will
   be created using filename, keytype, keyexpr, and keylen.
   The resultant file will be opened, and the datafile will be read
   sequentially building keys from each data record. The index file will be
   closed at exit. The datafile must be open prior to the function call.

EXAMPLE
   #include <sc_base.h>

   void main()
   {
     int dbf;

     scdinit(20,0);
     if (scddopenx(&dbf, "TOC.DBF", SC_BUFFER) == SC_SUCCESS) {
       scdnindex(dbf, "TOCNAME.NDX", SC_CKEY, "NAME", 64);
       scddclose(dbf);
     }
     scdterm();
   }
