Auto-Indexing works each time you start the program and each time you Add, Change or Delete a record. Auto-Indexing updates your indexes and optimizes your data files. Reports Reports Can Be Sent To: LPT1, LPT2, or A Text File. Utilities Optimize Data Files Rebuild Keys & Indexes Change Default Name End Program Return Time-Date-Memory-Records FILE Send A Report To The Printer This option will allow you to send your report to LPT1, LPT2, or a TEXT File. To VIEW A RECORD, highlight the record you would like to view and press ENTER. The complete record and form will fill the screen. You may press ESC to return to the VIEW TABLE. Or make changes to the record. To ADD A RECORD from ther View Table. Press the INSERT key. The Data Entry Form will fill the screen. After you press the enter key on the last field the record will be saved and indexed automatically. Press ESC at any time to return to the VIEW TABLE. The Data Entry Form will fill the screen allowing you to view the record that is about to be deleted. You may press ESC to return to the VIEW TABLE and the record will not be erased. Or You may press ENTER to Erase the record. To CHANGE A RECORD. Hightlight the record you would like to CHANGE. Press Enter. The Data entry form will fill the screen allowing you to view the information you entered. You may make any changes you would like. Pressing enter on the last field will save your changes and return you to the VIEW TABLE. You may also press CONTROL ENTER to save changes. You may press ESC to return to the VIEW TABLE. At the bottom of each TABLE you will see "Locate Record By (*DEPT*MAKE*VENDOR) If you were at the View Records By Dept, View Table, at the bottom of the screen you would see Locate Record By "Dept". If you typed the word DARKROOM in this field all the records with the word Darkroom entered in the Dept field of the Data Entry Form would be grouped together on your screen.
