~How do I get past the skeleton ?


After you have the right key, open the drawer.  At this point, 
the skeleton comes at you.  Leave the room through the door (not 
one of the two staircases) and make your way quickly to the basement
boiler room.  Go into the boiler room.  When the skeleton comes into 
the boiler room, shut the door.  The skeleton will melt, as it's 
made of wax.
