~Transport Tycoon
 
A few tips obtained via Netmail.
 

I find that the most profitable way of transporting goods are by 
train. I So do I. I make about 1.5 million on a eurostar train 
full of valuables/ year. The monorails pul in more mone but I  
can't be bothered replacing all my eurostars with monorails 
because of the time it would take. 


Hardly ever use buses or lorries, and never use planes or ships 
unless I have so much money it doesn't matter. Mail and 
passengers on trains don't Lorries and buses are useless apart 
from at the start of the game. I deleted ALL mine because the 
game wouldn't allow me to build any more vehicles! This is the 
worst part of it, i.e. when you reach the vehicle limit for the 
world, I presume this is to stop the game slowing down too much 
but of a dx4/100 (16megs/Diamond Stealth 64 etc......) its 
pretty irritating to say the least, there is loads more things I 
can do to make more money but I can't do it without wiping out a 
perfectly good train so I can build another one!! :( 

I've only played up to about 1955 though so I assume that other 
modes of transport become important later on. Not really, the 
monorail is the single biggest improvement along with the 
eurostar double ender train and the concord (1700 mph +!)
