~Cheating and Wormholes.


I have only recently started to play frontier but I am taking ages to 
build up some cash. Could you tell me what "the money for nothing"
cheat  is please. Also, what are Wormholes ?

The money cheat was fixed on later versions but what you do is to
fit a cabin on your ship and take on a passenger and say you will 
take them to wherever they want to go. Go then to the shipyard and 
try to trade in your ship for a lifter or a shuttle. If the bug works 
you should get a message something like "can't sell ship with 
passengers on" but you will have been credited with the money. Keep 
trying to sell until you have enough money.

Alternatively get money the real way by trading Sol-Barnards 
robots-food after stripping your ship down to the bare minimum 
leaving only your autopilot.  Save it often as you sometimes (rarely) 
get attacked.

The wormholes are useful for quick movement around the galactic map.
If you move to about 655 Lightyears from your present position you 
should get a message saying "in range" and can jump to that point. 
If you want to get from a point A to a point B but can't make the 
jump directly but need to due to time limits then by using a wormhole 
you can do the journey more quickly than going in a straight line to
your destination. Someone did post a formula some time ago that you 
could type into a calculator tho make it easier to see if a wormhole 
jump would work but you can work out the wormhole jump you have to
make yourself by trigonometry.



~Bombing Mission Hint...


There is a cheat for the bombing missions: when you have arrived
at the planet and have identified your target from orbit, click
on it then point your ship at a point just above the planet
edge nearest the target. Arm your nuclear missile then save your
position. Now fire the missile and immediately click on the
FASTEST stardreamer icon for a few seconds. You should find the
mission is DONE every time!
