REVIEWED BY : ADRIANO MAURIZIO GRISANTI REVIEW : The cheet sheets CD-ROM, comes with its own plastic case, proper CD sleeve, instructions & pressed CD-ROM disc. What is cheet sheets I hear you all cry, well its a monthly disk-based magazine, and your reading it right now, nice isn't it. As you can see it has various reviews, articles and cheets, with a user friendly interface. The CD version of cheet sheets includes over 800 solutions, hints, tips or help on PC Games. These cheets and tips include Maps and Graphical solutions. The CD also has over 150 game reviews and includes a special compiled version of issues 1-34 of the original monthly disk based version. Besides the great stuff mentioned above, the cd also contains the original magazine in its original disk format, over 200 MOD files and players (including GMOD, cheet sheets own MOD player), pictures, 180 shareware games, many doom levels & the Gorin Organiser for Dos and Windows (graphical interface). The GMOD player included, allows the choice of low, medium or high quality output and is very user friendly. Altogether I'll give the cheet sheets CD 9.5/10 as it is a very useful and entertaining CD, and at a very sensible price, "BUY IT TODAY" & support cheet sheets. Comments : The cheet sheets CD is excellent, bar that there is no actual music in the actual compiled version, instead the mods have to be played through a separate MOD player. This is a good idea, but it would be best if some mods were included in the compiled mag, maybe next time ?. That why only 9.5/10. Look out for cheet sheets volume 2 CD-ROM coming soon to a CD caddie near you, watch this space......... ~Editors Comments ...... Thanks for the review, I'd just luike to comment on your final query concerning the lack of sound in the CD version. Well this was left out purposely so as we could reach a wider range of users. Having the sound in the interface would have slowed the program right down and of course it doesn't use up as much memory when running, so all those 1Mbyte and 2Mbyte users could still use it !!!! How many of you readers go directly to the STOP button when the music starts to play ?? From my feedback, MOST OF YOU !!!! Thanks for the review..... If anybody else has any strong comments on the CD, then please right in as these will be used to make all future CD's better and easier to use !! Wayne.
