| One of the most mysterious artifacts that has been discovered on our Earth are known as the Crystal Skulls. A Crystal Skull is defined as a human size and shaped skull made from various types of quartz crystal, usually discovered in or near an ancient ruin. Almost all of these ancient artifacts have come out of Mexico or Central America, usually linked to the Mayans or Aztecs, however in recent years, crystal skulls have been surfacing or reported in South America, Europe and Asia. | |
 Joshua "Illinois" Shapiro | Co-founder of V J Enterprises, Joshua Shapiro, has been involved in investigating and sharing information about the Crystal Skulls since 1983, when he saw his first crystal
skull in San Jose, California, a skull made from amethyst quartz crystal. Since that time
Joshua has seen a number of other ancient skulls and traveled throughout the U.S. and parts
of South America, sharing information about the crystal skulls. In 1985, Joshua met the co-authors of his book and through this association became aware of the Mayan Crystal Skull , the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull (witnessed at the first International Crystal Congress in Dallas, Texas, May of 1986) and the Texas Crystal Skull ( also known as "MAX" ), which he saw at the Whole Life Expo in Los Angeles in 1988. In March of 1989, the three co-authors released their book, "Mysteries of the Crystal Skulls Revealed", which was also published in Brazil in 1992. |

There are a number of other crystal skulls that Joshua has met along the way which are discussed in the Crystal Skull article listed below. The Crystal Skulls are considered to be one of the world greatest mysteries. Some of these artifacts have been researched by Hewlett Packard ( reported in Richard Garvin's book, "The Crystal Skull", 1973) and continue to baffle the modern scientific community.
