Well it appears that the dust is begining to settle after the "Old Gunfight at The Santilli Saloon!", or at least untill Kent Jefferys came up with an absolute stunner! More details in this issue. I have included a new section, its a sort of clasifieds for researchers needing information on specific cases or types of cases! Hopefully it will be well used. I have stuck my own little ad on to show you what i mean. The Clasifieds will be updated every month when this mag comes out. As usual this issue is a week or so late again, but the main cause is because I need you to send me stuff! :)
Heres an idea, why not find your local group and get to one of there public meetings. I am sure you will enjoy it, and you can send us in the details of what went on, yes! another new section!

It seems after shocks of the Santilli/Roswell film are set to run and run. News is spreading of Kent Jefferys ( A Roswell Researcher ) challenge made on the 1st of March.
It appears Kent has gain access to the Top Dog of the day as far as Photography and Filming is concerned in the Roswell years. The challenge goes like this, Santilli must provide Kents Top Dog with the name of the camera man. The Top Dog will then be able to say if such a person existed in those days. If this isnt possible he may be able to prove it with a 15 minute phone being made by the camera man to the Top Dog.
mmmm! Whats the betting nothing comes of this.
Book: Alien Liason - The Ultimate Secret Author: Timothy Good ISBN: 0-09-985920-3 Reviewer: Kolchak.
I had just finished reading 'Above Top Secret' (by Timothy Good) and was thirsting for more UFO information. Seeing it was pay day, off I went into town to find another book. The book that caught my eye was another Timothy Good book, 'Alien Liason'. The summary on the back stating animals have been surgically mutilated by non-human means, alien craft have been test flown and dismantled and doctors have examined live aliens, and dissected dead alien bodies.
The book had 239 pages. 21 of these were the appendix with copied and censored documents and also contact addresses for major UFO organisations. There were 12 pages of photo's in the center. Once again, these were photo's of people and buildings, with only a couple of UFO drawings.
The format started off with UFO sightings and reports from around the world. The Belgium sightings, cattle mutilation, US president involvements, New Mexico aliens, Project Aquarius (Gathering of UFO documents) etc.
Two thirds of the way through the book, you come to a chapter, Alien Technology. Its this part of the book which is 'a little hard to swallow' without proof from other sources. It also introduces Bob Lazar, a scientist/engineer who claims to have seen and worked on alien craft and worked with alien technologies. Some being craft propulsion systems and an anti-gravity chamber here on Earth.
Even so, it was this part of the book that made interesting reading even though some of the ideas did seem a bit far fetched. It was different to the normal, run of the mill, UFO report books. All in all, a book worth reading.

WSIKES: Well, it was late at night, probably around midnight. My friend and I were on the roof of my house stargazing.
US: What year was this?
WSIKES: I'm not sure, maybe '89
US: Go on Sikes
go on , tell us how it started
WSIKES: It was a clear night. All of a sudden four, what seemed to be balls of fire, emerged from the east and skiped across the sky towards the west.
at first I thought they were shooting stars, but they didn't fade away and they didn't seem to fall. These four objects were also in a diamond formation, one in front, two on the sides and one in back.
US: so they were sort of over head?
WSIKES: Yeah, they weren't too high, but not real close either.
US: So you guess medium plane as in their height?
WSIKES: As they headed towards the mountain,the three in the back lit up real bright, then disappeard.
US: Sikes What about the other one?
WSIKES: The one in front, I thought was going to hit the mountain, but broke into two and flew away.
US: So in all you saw at least 5 lights?
WSIKES: It was pretty strange, and since I don't know what they were, I call them ufos.
WSIKES: Yeah, a total of five.
US: Did they hover at all?
WSIKES: No, just sorta skipped across, it happened kinda fast
US: I know this is a bit like 20 questions but it will help readers to get the full picture.
WSIKES: Fine with me.
US: What about noises Sikes?
WSIKES: No noises.
US: What time of the year was the sighting?
WSIKES: I'm not sure, I think in the fall.
Ever since ive really gotten into ufos.
US: Can I also ask you what State it was in?
WSIKES: Palm Springs, California.
US: OK, can you try to remember the actual length of time these objects were in sight for.
WSIKES: I would have to say about 4-5 seconds
US: And did they fly straight upto the point where they seperated?
WSIKES: Well, they didn't stop at all, they just seperated while they were moving.
US: Sikes can I ask this? How did you feel when this was over?
WSIKES: I felt overwhelmed i guess. I was only about 10 or 11.
US: But you "knew" something was different about this?
WSIKES: But the thing that caught my attention was when I saw the same thing on T.V.on Sightings or something. It was a different place though.
WSIKES: Yes, I knew there was something different and so did my friend.
They didn't leave trails behind like shooting stars
and they didn't blink like airplanes.
US: Sikes, you said balls of fire...but what color?
WSIKES: redish-orange
US: Did you feel threatend at all by what you saw while it was happening or affterwards?
WSIKES: No, I was very excited!
US: Ever dream about this after it happend Sikes?
WSIKES: I was never scared. Like I said eversince I've always been very interested.
I've never dreamed about that piticular incident, but i have had many ufo dreams.
US: Did you get any idea of the speed they traveled?
WSIKES: I don't know how fast they were going, but fast.
That was it! I think you will agree this is one of the things IRC is good for!
Well what can I say!! It only cost ú2 ( $3 US ) and for that we got 3
hours!
First off a chat from one of our Co Founders, telling us of a flap in our
area! Hopefully I will be getting more info on this soon! Next up Tony James
from EMUFORA. He started by giving us a look at a Gulf Breeze video shot with
a camcorder. When it was finnished we had a break ( what no coffee! ) so I
poped out for a smoke with about 10 others. In the corridor ( smokey corridor
:) ) I started chatting with a few others. Most seemed to know what they were
going on about, one was an author and wish's to switch from aviation to ufo.
I wished him luck! asking people what they thought of the video it got a
mixed reaction, from "nah! its all bunk!" to "Yea! that was sooo kewl!".
Anyway back in we went, an ex policeman who is now into Ufology did a ten minute chat. He was great! I have since phoned them up and told them he should have got more time so I hope they give him another bite at the bullet.
Then up came Tony James again, this time with a slide show on Area51 and Gulf Breeze. The Area51 was good, It really does help to have someone talking you through there holiday snaps! It gave us a chance to get to grips with what all those bits and pieces in pictures are supposed to be. Then Gulf Breeze, again good, we got a report on the original sightings of Ed Walters and a run though some of his best photos. A detailed look at Gulf Breeze and todays sightings followed. Apparently its a great place, I wish i could lift anchor for the UK and drift across for a visit! That about wrapped it up, I manadged to get an audio recording of Linda Howe in Florida dated 1994 for ú1.50 and I am impressed with it so all in all well worth it.
