10. To always write down my CMOS settings {before} 
    installing a new hard drive.

9.  To wait at least three months before installing any
    new version of DOS.

8.  To {really} back up my hard drive, this time BEFORE
    it crashes.

7.  To send in all of my shareware fees.

6.  To find a way to clean Jolt cola stains and get
    pizza crumbs out of my keyboard.

5.  To learn how to format a disk properly, once and
    for all.

4.  To speak in something resembling English when
    asked about my computer.

3.  To learn how to type with more than two fingers.

2.  To renew my ODM subscription for life.

and now, the number one Computer Junkie Resolution:

{1.  To spend less money on my computer than I do on
    my spouse and/or children.} (At least until the
    Pentium computers get down to $2,000.00.)
