    Welcome back!  It's time to sit down, fire up the PC, and delve into 
 another issue of Big Blue Disk.  If you have been with us the last couple 
 of months, you know that BBD has been going through a period of growth.  We 
 have created a new product (PC BusinessDisk), announced the availability of 
 Big Blue Disk in 1.2 Meg floppy disk format, and increased the recommended 
 memory requirements to 512K.  This month's Diskovery column may seem a little 
 anticlimatic after the pyrotechnics of the last few issues, but I have 
 nothing new to report! 

    The Big Blue Disk staff and I have worked very hard preparing this issue.  
 Recently, we have had numerous requests for a program that would assist in 
 composing music on a PC.  I try to fulfill these requests whenever possible.
 Make-A-Melody includes numerous features which can be used to explore the 
 musical capabilities of your computer system.  Play-A-Melody, a jukebox for 
 Make-A-Melody tunes, allows you to select one or more songs and play them back 
 in any order.  Both programs should provide many hours of entertainment. 
 
    The number of computer users that have a hard disk in their PC seems 
 to be increasing by leaps and bounds.  To help you make a more informed 
 software purchase, this month's product spotlight is on Magellan by Lotus.  
 An information navigator, Magellan will help you Find, View, and Use data 
 stored on your hard drive more effectively.  Limited only by the number of 
 times it can be run, this version of Magellan allows you complete access 
 to all features.
 
    I have managed to do it again!  Every month, I worry whether or not I 
 have enough material to fill an issue.  As usual I will have to break out 
 the disk stretcher (similar to the shelf stretcher you find in most retail 
 stores) to get everything to fit!
