How do I get the face to listen to me?

You'll need to get the cork out of its ear before you can do anything.

And to do that, you need to get close to the cork.  But there's no way as
of yet to get up to the cork.

Look around the platform near the cork for something that you can use.

There's something that looks like it's growing out of the ground next to the
face.  Don't you remember how to make things grow?

Have Magician cast a spell on that little dot.  That stick is the key to
getting near the face.

It's not going to do much for you in its current position.  You'll need to
make it tilt a bit before you can get up to that platform.

Have Warrior hit the stick, and a ladder will roll down.

Now all you need to do is move the cork out of the way.  By now, you should
know the standard way to move things.
