that there's no space left on the disk you're using.  You need to insert another
formatted disk, but you can't find one.  What do you do?  Some programs let you
format a new disk from within the program, but this is tedious.  Other programs

^C^1Copy it Quickly with Quick Copy

   SOFTDISK, INC. is a distributor for ALF Quick Copy diskette duplicators,
which are self-contained units requiring no computer to run.  There are Quick
Copy models to copy 5 1/4" or 3 1/2" diskettes, either double-sided or single-
sided in several formats, including IBM PC, APPLE II ProDOS and DOS 3.3,
COMMODORE 64/128, and MACINTOSH.

   The user reads a master copy into the Quick Copy's memory.  From that point,
the Quick Copy will copy two double-sided 360K MS-DOS 5 1/4" diskettes every 40
seconds (that's 20 seconds each!).  3 1/2" diskettes (720K) take twice as long.
Thus, a single machine could copy as many as 90 diskettes per hour.  The speed
at which the operator changes diskettes will be a factor.

   A few months ago, we purchased several new AT&T UNIX PC's to computerize our
customer records.  However, the rapid growth of our company soon made it
necessary for us to switch to a bigger system.  Hence, we're now willing to make

   They are AT&T UNIX PC's (3B1), with CRT (monochrome), 67MB hard drives, one
floppy drive (able to read and write MS-DOS disks as well as a native UNIX
