Instead of a Pac-Man character, you maneuver a cursor around the screen, clearing out the rows and columns of figures. (The arrow keys on the numeric keypad control the cursor.) Renegade data cells rather than ghosts bar your way -- colliding with one costs you a life. But as in the original Pac-Man, you can turn the tables on your pursuers by eating a "power pill" -- in this case, the "50s" that appear in the corners of the spreadsheet. Once you eat a power pill, the hunter becomes the hunted. Touching one of the renegade cells with the cursor wins you bonus points. Just don't get caught up in the excitement of the chase: the effects of the pill wear off after a few seconds. Each time a screen is cleared, CALC-MAN takes you to another level. And since CALC-MAN is probably the one spreadsheet you won't mind spending time with, we've made sure that you won't run out of levels to conquer. Happy calculating.
