Interface Note - There is an error message in the program 
that looks like this ...  

                    Serial Port Timeout
                   Check RS232 connection

If your interface is connected to the serial port, and you see
this message, you may need to make a patch cable in order for
this program to work. Simply buy (or make) a serial cable that 
has one male end and one female end with the same number of pins
that are on the COMM port of the computer. Serial port connectors
usually have either 9 or 25 pins. The connector that plugs into
the COMM port has to be modified slightly. If the connector is
a 9 pin design, short pins 1, 4, and 6 together. Then short pins
7 and 8 together. The pin numbers are stamped on the connector.
If the connector that plugs into the COMM port has 25 pins,
short pins 4 and 5 together, then short pins 6, 8, and 20 together.
This allows the interface to be in receive ready mode all the time,
by connecting RTS to CTS, and DTR to DCD to DSR like a modem
eliminator does.

Icom user keys - are limited to commands of frequency set and 
mode set in this release of the program. Memory set, VFO to MEM,
and other commands that require a transceiver address in the 
command will be available in the future.

Some program error messages can be overridden at your own risk
by pressing "o". These include "Serial port not found", "EGA/
VGA graphics not found", etc.
