Most seasoned biologists and wildlife watchers like bird watchers and butterfly enthusiasts have become accustomed to using unique characteristics of an organism to help identify it. Probably the first characteristic that most biologists use is what is know as its morphology. Morphology includes an organism's shape and color. For instance, body shape can be very helpful in recognizing various organisms. Can you use the shapes below to identify the butterfly, frog, and bird?
